Deze geven via een app precies aan wanneer het product verzadigd is en de cli\u00ebnt verschoond moet worden. Dat voorkomt onnodige controles, bespaart tijd en geeft cli\u00ebnten meer rust.<\/p><p>Toch is deze technologie niet voor iedereen geschikt. Sommige cli\u00ebnten kunnen zelf nog goed aangeven dat ze naar het toilet moeten of wanneer ze verschoond willen worden. Voor hen heeft slim incontinentiemateriaal weinig meerwaarde.<\/p><p>Onderzoek van Vilans laat zien dat slim incontinentiemateriaal vooral geschikt is voor cli\u00ebnten die niet of nauwelijks mobiel zijn. Ze kunnen vaak nog zelf naar het toilet of aangeven wanneer ze verschoond moeten worden. Voor deze groep is de toegevoegde waarde van slim incontinentiemateriaal beperkt.<br \/>ABENA Nova is hierop een uitzondering. Dit systeem is juist ontworpen voor cli\u00ebnten in de mobiliteitsklassen C, D en E \u2013 van beperkt mobiel tot volledig passief. In de praktijk blijkt dat ABENA Nova bij deze doelgroep echt verschil maakt: minder controles, minder natte bedden, minder huidproblemen en betere nachtrust.
