Een aantal handelingen kost me steeds meer moeite, zoals mezelf wassen en aankleden. Daarvoor krijg ik nu iedere ochtend hulp van de verzorgenden van het woonzorgcentrum. We maken samen een praatje en ze vragen ook altijd of ze nog iets voor me kunnen doen. Ik vind het fijn om even mijn verhaal kwijt te kunnen. Ik geniet echt van die momenten. Natuurlijk weet ik dat ze het druk hebben, maar ze laten het mij nooit merken. Het is fijn om goede zorg te krijgen en me weer even helemaal mens te voelen. Dankzij de goede verzorging ging het gelukkig snel over. Nu letten we er nog meer op dat mijn huid goed schoon en droog is. Het is beter om infecties te voorkomen dan te genezen.
