Bovendien kunnen bekkenbodemoefeningen worden gebruikt om pijn bij het vrijen tegen te gaan. De bekkenbodemoefeningen zijn  geschikt voor mannen en vrouwen.<\/strong>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e2e3cd7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e2e3cd7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span>Ongewild urineverlies wordt vaak veroorzaakt door verzwakte of beschadigde bekkenbodemspieren. Vooral zwangere vrouwen en vrouwen in de overgang hebben een grotere kans op incontinentie. Tijdens de zwangerschap en tijdens de overgang verslappen de spieren van de bekkenbodem door hormonale veranderingen in het lichaam. Deze spieren spelen een belangrijke rol bij het ophouden van urine. Daar vormen ze een soort hangmatje, die de organen onder in het lichaam op hun plek houdt. Meestal zijn de bekkenbodemspieren licht aangespannen. Ga je naar de wc, dan ontspannen de spieren zich om de ontlasting of urine door te laten. Ook bij het vrijen ontspant de bekkenbodem zich. Bij een gezonde spanning op de bekkenbodemspieren leveren deze activiteiten geen problemen op.<\/p><div>Als er te veel spanning aanwezig is in dit gebied, wordt de druk op de blaas en het rectum erg groot. Dat leidt tot aandrang om vaak te gaan plassen of tot een verstopt gevoel. Daarnaast kunnen die gespannen spieren pijn veroorzaken in de lies, rug of het bekken. Pijn bij het vrijen is ook een van de symptomen van een gespannen bekkenbodem. De oorzaak van de verhoogde spierspanning van de bekkenbodem is niet altijd bekend.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Staat er te weinig spanning op de bekkenbodemspieren, dan gebeurt er het tegenovergestelde. Het ophouden van de plas wordt dan lastiger of iemand krijgt last van ongewenst urineverlies. Bij het vrijen wordt het gevoel juist minder, wat leidt tot minder genot. Bij vrouwen kan te weinig spanning op de bekkenbodemspieren onder andere komen door een zwangerschap of de overgang. De bekkenbodem verslapt tijdens de zwangerschap om het kind door te laten bij de geboorte. Tijdens de overgang wordt het weefsel van de bekkenbodem minder sterk door hormonale veranderingen. Bij mannen speelt veel druk op de bekkenbodem vaak een rol bij het verzakken\/verzwakken van de bekkenbodem, zoals zwaar lichamelijk werk of veel hoesten. Als de bekkenbodem niet sterk genoeg is, kan je blaas, je rectum of je baarmoeder naar beneden zakken. Niet bij mentale stress of spanning, maar bij fysieke druk (stress) op de bekkenbodem. Bijvoorbeeld bij sporten of andere lichamelijke inspanning, zoals bukken, springen of hoesten. Deze vorm van incontinentie heet <a href=\"https:\/\/abena-professional.nl\/healthcare\/continentiezorg\/vormen-van-incontinentie\/stressincontinentie-of-inspanningsincontinentie\/\">stressincontinentie<\/a> en wordt vaak veroorzaakt door verzwakte spieren in de bekkenbodem. Gelukkig bestaan er oefeningen om deze spieren sterker te maken. Je kunt de oefeningen ook gebruiken om <a href=\"https:\/\/abena-professional.nl\/healthcare\/continentiezorg\/vormen-van-incontinentie\/aandrangincontinentie\/\">aandrangincontinentie<\/a> en <a class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bekkenbodemoefeningen helpen om klachten zoals incontinentie en pijn bij het vrijen te verminderen. Is er sprake van moeite met het aanspannen en ontspannen van de bekkenbodemspieren? Dan kunnen er juist meer klachten ontstaan als iemand veel van deze oefeningen doet. Vraag in dit geval advies aan een gespecialiseerde bekkenfysiotherapeut. Een bekkenfysiotherapeut heeft, naast de opleiding tot fysiotherapeut, een driejarige specialisatie gevolgd. Een bekkenfysiotherapeut kan ook advies geven over toilethouding en plasgedrag. Daarnaast heeft de bekkenfysiotherapeut meestal een speciaal apparaat om de werking en sterkte van je bekkenbodemspieren te meten. Zittend op de knie\u00ebn in een hoek van 90\u00b0en het bovenlichaam voorover gebogen. De onderarmen steunen op de vloer en het hoofd rust op de handen.<\/p><p>2. Liggend op de rug met de knie\u00ebn opgetrokken en de armen ontspannen naast het lichaam. Om de bekken nog meer te ontlasten, de benen eventueel op een krukje of stoel leggen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9456ac9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9456ac9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Soorten bekkenbodemoefeningen<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a08ca3a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a08ca3a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Deze bekkenbodemoefeningen kunnen zelfstandig of onder begeleiding van een bekkenfysiotherapeut worden uitgevoerd. Daarnaast is het mogelijk om oefening A en D uit te voeren tijdens dagelijkse activiteiten, bijvoorbeeld op kantoor of thuis op de bank.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ffcb3b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ffcb3b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Oefening A: De basisoefening<\/strong><\/p><p>Dit is de basisoefening voor het aanspannen van de bekkenbodem. Deze oefening komt bij elke oefensessie terug.\u00a0<\/p><p>In de uitgangshouding van het plaatje bij voorbereidingsoefening 2 probeert de cli\u00ebnt, na de vijf minuten rust, een paar keer rustig de bekkenbodemspieren aan te spannen. Vraag de cli\u00ebnt om te doen alsof hij\/zij een windje probeert op te houden of alsof hij\/zij hoge nood heeft en de plas moet ophouden. Hierbij trekt de cli\u00ebnt als het ware de bekkenbodem in de richting van de rode pijl, aangegeven op het plaatje hierboven.<\/p><p>Om dit beter te voelen, leg de cli\u00ebnt een hand onder de rug bij het bekken en een hand op de onderbuik, zoals in het plaatje hierboven. Daar zijn de bekkenbodemspieren het beste te voelen. Als dit lukt, vraag dan aan de cli\u00ebnt of hij\/zij diep kan inademen. Op de uitademing spant de cli\u00ebnt dan de bekkenbodemspieren aan. Dit herhaalt de cli\u00ebnt tien keer.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Oefening B: Voeten tegen elkaar duwen<\/strong><\/p><p>De cli\u00ebnt gaat op de grond zitten en kruist de onderbenen over elkaar. Bij het uitademen drukt de cli\u00ebnt de buitenkant van de voeten tegen elkaar aan. Als het goed is, voelt de cli\u00ebnt nu dat de bekkenbodemspieren zich vanzelf ook aanspannen. Ook deze oefening herhaalt de cli\u00ebnt tien keer. Dan volgt een korte pauze in een ontspannen houding (bijvoorbeeld benen even gestrekt), om daarna de oefening nog eens tien keer te herhalen.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Oefening C: Bruggetje maken<\/strong><\/p><p>De cli\u00ebnt gaat op de grond liggen met de knie\u00ebn opgetrokken, de voeten plat op de grond en de armen ontspannen langs het lichaam. Vervolgens tilt de cli\u00ebnt de billen op van de grond. Dit heet ook wel een &#8216;bruggetje maken&#8217;. Tijdens het uitademen spant de cli\u00ebnt de bekkenbodem aan (zie oefening A). Daarna laat de cli\u00ebnt de billen weer rustig zakken. Laat de cli\u00ebnt een of twee keer rustig ademhalen. Dan wordt de oefening herhaalt tot er tien herhalingen zijn bereikt.<\/p><p><strong>Oefening D: Staand of lopend<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>Deze oefening is moeilijker dan de voorgaande oefeningen. In stand spant de cli\u00ebnt de bekkenbodemspieren aan op de uitademing. Om te controleren of de bilspieren niet meedoen, legt de cli\u00ebnt de handen op de billen. Na tien seconden laat de cli\u00ebnt de bekkenbodemspieren weer rustig los. Dan volgen tien seconden ontspanning, waarna de cli\u00ebnt weer tien seconden aanspant op de uitademing. Dit herhaalt de cli\u00ebnt dan tien keer. Nog moeilijker is om ditzelfde te doen, maar dan tijdens het lopen. Het is namelijk lastiger om de bekkenbodemspieren aangespannen te houden tijdens een beweging.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element meerdere keren per dag gedaan worden. Als de cli\u00ebnt vaker oefent, zal de controle over de bekkenbodem snel sterker worden. Dus twee keer per dag is prima, vijf keer per dag is beter. Dit hangt helemaal af van de inzet en motivatie van de cli\u00ebnt. Als er weinig tijd is, kan de cli\u00ebnt er ook voor kiezen om telkens een of twee oefeningen te doen en dit meerdere malen per dag uit te voeren. Als er vijf keer per dag 10 minuten wordt geoefend, zijn de resultaten beter dan wanneer er een keer per dag twintig minuten wordt geoefend. De eerste resultaten zijn al snel te merken. Soms verdwijnen de klachten zelfs helemaal door bekkenbodemspierenoefeningen. Een andere manier om het lastiger te maken, is om de cli\u00ebnt te vragen de bekkenbodemspieren langer aangespannen te houden. Het is dus belangrijk om te beginnen bij oefening A. Als oefening A nog niet zo goed lukt en oefening B maar een klein beetje, is het nog te vroeg om met oefening C te beginnen. Als de cli\u00ebnt de bekkenbodem kan aanspannen zonder andere spieren, zoals billen, bovenbenen of rug, aan te spannen, dan heeft hij\/zij een goede controle. Dan is het tijd voor oefening C. Pas als de cli\u00ebnt oefening C zonder aanspannen van andere spieren kan uitvoeren, is het tijd voor oefening D. De cli\u00ebnt zou dan oefening B kunnen overslaan.
