class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Reflexincontinentie of neurogene incontinentie is de verzamelnaam voor ongewild urineverlies veroorzaakt door problemen in het zenuwstelsel. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn Multiple Sclerose (MS), een dwarslaesie en Spina Bifida (open rug). Reflexincontinentie komt zowel voor bij mannen en vrouwen als kinderen.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-763accc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"763accc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Reflexincontinentie ontstaat door (aangeboren) afwijkingen in het zenuwstelsel die leiden tot verstoorde reflexen in de hersenen. Doordat de hersenen niet goed in staat zijn om de blaasspieren aan te sturen ontstaat ongewild urineverlies. Mensen met reflexincontinentie kunnen niet goed hun plas ophouden of voelen zelfs helemaal geen aandrang om te plassen. Omdat ongewild urineverlies vaak optreedt zonder waarschuwing wordt deze vorm van incontinentie ook wel neurogene incontinentie genoemd. De mate van urineverlies verschilt van persoon tot persoon, maar vaak is sprake van de volledige blaasinhoud.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9a8895d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9a8895d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Oorzaken reflexincontinentie<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-747852ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"747852ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Neurogene stoornissen zijn problemen die betrekking hebben op het zenuwstel. Reflexincontinentie is een gevolg van neurogene stoornis of afwijking, vandaar dat reflexincontinentie ook wel neurogene incontinentie wordt genoemd. Neurogene problemen die leiden tot reflexincontinentie kunnen worden veroorzaakt door aangeboren afwijkingen, maar ook door ziektes en ongelukken. Veel voorkomende oorzaken van neurologische stoornissen zijn een dwarslaesie, spina bifida (open rug), tumoren, Multiple Sclerose (MS), de ziekte van Parkinson, een herseninfarct of hersenbloeding en beschadigde zenuwen als gevolg van een operatie.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-31b84cf1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"31b84cf1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">De rol van het ruggenmerg<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-21acfc61 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"21acfc61\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Het ruggenmerg maakt onderdeel uit van het centrale zenuwstelsel. Samen met de hersenen speelt het ruggenmerg een belangrijke rol bij beweging en gedrag. Het ruggenmerg is via de zenuwen gekoppeld aan verschillende onderdelen van het lichaam zoals de blaas. Zodra de blaas bijna vol is gaat er via het ruggenmerg een seintje naar de hersenen dat het bijna tijd is om naar het toilet te gaan. Eenmaal op het toilet volgt een seintje van de hersenen dat zorgt dat de blaasspier samentrekt en de sluitspier ontspant zodat er geplast kan worden. Er kan sprake zijn van een eenmalige blaaskatheter, maar ook van een verblijfskatheter die iedere vier tot twaalf weken verwisseld moet worden. Vanwege de kans op complicaties gebeurt dit in de praktijk echter zelden.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Absorberend incontinentiemateriaal kan het leven met reflexincontinentie een stuk dragelijker maken. Incontinentiemateriaal beschermt tegen lekkages, houdt nare geurtjes tegen en beperkt de kans op incontinentie geassocieerde huidproblemen (IAD).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gezond eten en voldoende drinken helpt om ongewild urineverlies te beperken. Voldoende drinken (minimaal 1,5 liter per dag) voorkomt uitdroging van de blaas. Daarnaast is het belangrijk om alcohol, cafe\u00efne houdende dranken en pittig eten zoveel mogelijk te vermijden.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
